The GNOME Foundation is pleased to announce that a limited number of travel sponsorships are available for those who wish to attend the upcoming Linux App Summit (LAS) in Brno, Czech Republic. LAS is a conference for developers, designers, product managers, community members, and anyone interested in the state of Linux application development to collaboratively work on building and improving Linux applications. This year’s conference takes place on April 21-23. You can learn more about LAS, register, and view the schedule on linuxappsummit.org.
The travel sponsorships are open to anyone who wishes to attend LAS but may not have the financial means to do so. If you’re interested in applying, please contact Kristi at kprogri@gnome.org and include a short statement on why you would like to attend LAS along with your estimated travel costs. Please note that the travel sponsorship recipients will be required to volunteer during the conference.
The deadline for submitting your application is March 24, so be sure to apply as soon as possible if you’re interested in attending LAS. This is an incredible opportunity to meet with fellow developers and community members and to work on improving the Linux application ecosystem.
If you have any questions about the conference or the travel sponsorships, please don’t hesitate to contact Kristi at kprogri@gnome.org. We look forward to seeing you in Brno!
